Maniyarayile Ashokan (2020) movie review and ratings.
Maniyarayile Ashokan (2020) by Jacob Gregory. |
Dulquer Salman and Nazriya Nazim did a cameo role in this film, from the very beginning of the intros we can predict Arjun character is Dulquer Salman with the marine officer uniform in the poster. Nazriya Nazim role I never expected this is it, we will see her from the beginning but you can’t guess that it is her.
The plot is little bit entertaining and exciting but there is also few good dramatic scenes.
Songs are better than I expected but that is also slowing down factor for the movie.
What’s not there in this film?.
Though content better and fresh there is also some slowing down factors like songs, I don’t know why they added so much of songs after every scenes in the starting, that seemed unwanted but ok because of its good visuals.
There is also some unwanted scenes like some character just come and go without much importance and proper ending to their story.
The screenplay should have been a little bit tighter because you will definitely sleep because of their unnecessary songs.
Star performance:
It fits Jacob Gregory.
Because of his average performance.
Storyline:
Ashokan was an unmarried government clerk, though all of his friends were married, his marriage was postponed due to horoscope problems.
And the problem was that his first wife would die because of this the one who loved him also left.
The only way out of this predicament is for the hero to tie marriage knot to a banana tree and take care of it like his wife.
Hero also tied a knot to the banana tree but the problem is hero started to over believe that banana tree as his wife.
After this how the hero got married is the full story.
Verdict:
Though there is a few slowing down factors, it is a good one-time watchable track, watch this if you have time.
