What’s there in this film?.

We know this is a remake film made from 90’s animated film Mulan, do you think this 20’s Mulan film is better than that 90’s Mulan film?. Most of the remade films are not as good as we would expect but this Mulan (2020) is not bad and also not a great one.

The one-line story is Woman named Mulan goes to war instead of her father, but the problem is women are not allowed to go to war in that country and then the story is how would she went to war after that and how she saved the emperor of that country.

The only satisfactory thing of this film is the cinematography and its visual effects, they just brought the old china and its war before our eyes by their stunning visuals and works.

The acting of the cast is also not bad, they just did what was wanted for the story, mainly our heroine Yifei Liu as Mulan made that role like tailored for her.

Even though it is a female lead based film there is no that much women-centric dialogues to bore us, I think it is also a good of this film.

The whole plot is a little bit adventurous because of some elements like how the heroine will stay in that camp full of men and many scenes like this but that is also lost its value due to the lack of comedies in some parts of the film.

There is no that much music and songs compared to the old version, they just rushed the film as their wish.

What’s not there in this film?.

The whole plot is rushed like a hell, they just dumped the story in 1 and 1/2 hrs, you can also feel this while watching the film, most of the scenes are not much cooked compare to that old version.

You will definitely feel that above issue in the climax, they just rushed the climax in just a few seconds, that made the villain character like a weak one, that’s my thought.

The whole plot goes like something there is missing, there is no that funny bits and adventures to hold the audience even though it is a remade film from 90’s.

They just hyped that witch role in the starting but that is also finished like a unbaked one.

Star performance:

It fits Yifei Liu.

Because of her okayish acting.

Bori khan is a villain in our story. he is coming to kill the Emperor who killed his father, he is also helped by one which named Xian Lang, she has the power to transform anyone.

On the other hand, the heroine name Mulan also has that witch-like power and her dad insisted not to show her power to anyone because she is a girl.

The whole country started to send the one man from their family for the war, but the heroine father had only daughters, so he decided to go war on behalf of his family.

But heroine went to war instead of her father but the problem is women are not allowed to go to war in that country after that how would she went to war and how she saved that emperor of that country is a full story.

Good visuals but lacks taste because their rushed screenplay, my thought is, watch the original animated film instead of this remake.
