Saika Ishaque is an Indian women’s cricket player who plays for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). She is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler and a left-handed batter.
She was born on 8 October 1995 in a lower middle-class Muslim family in the Park Circus area in Kolkata. Saika grew up in a difficult environment in the slums of Park Circus and lost her father at an early age. In her early days, she played for the Kalighat Club and represented Bengal in both U-19 and U-23 tournaments.
