Sheezan Mohammed Khan is an Indian television actor known for his roles as Ali Baba in Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul (2022), Yuvraj Bhoj in Prithvi Vallabh – Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi (2018) and Young Akbar/Sultan Murad Mirza in Jodha Akbar (2013-2015).
He was born on 9 September 1994 in Kota, Rajasthan, India. Television actresses Falaq Naaz and Shafaq Naaz are his elder sisters and he also has a younger brother named Ahaan Mohammed Khan.
His parents got separated when he was very young and his mother, Kehekshan Parveen raised him and his siblings as a single mother. He has got his mother’s name (Kehekshan) tattooed on his right hand biceps.
During his childhood, he worked as a tiffin box distributor to pay his school fees. He has studied till class 12th.
He is a fitness enthusiast and often post his workout pictures on social media.
In 2013, he made his acting debut in the historical drama television series ‘Jodha Akbar’ as young Akbar and later portrayed the role of Sultan Murad Mirza in the same show. In an interview with ETimes TV, he revealed that his first pay cheque was of Rs. 8500 which he earned from his five-day shoot for the show ‘Jodha Akbar’.
In 2016, he played the role of Vinay Saxena in the TV series ‘Silsila Pyaar Ka’ opposite Sheen Dass. After that, he appeared as Prince Kartikay in the TV series ‘Chandra Nandini’ in 2017 and Yuvraj Bhoj in ‘Prithvi Vallabh – Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi’ in 2018.
He started dating ‘Kundali Bhagya’ fame actress Mrinal Singh in 2016 and the couple made their relationship public in 2017 but the couple parted ways later on.
In 2019, he was seen in ‘Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan’ and ‘Tara From Satara’.
In 2020, he played the role of Apurv Singh Chaudhary, who was mentally 5-year-old in ‘Nazar 2’ but the show went off air despite having good ratings due to COVID-19 pandemic.
He was seen with actress Shaily Priya Pandey in Pavitra: Bharose Ka Safar (2021-22).
In 2022, he started playing the lead role of Ali Baba in the TV series ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’ opposite Tunisha Sharma. The duo came closer while working on the show and started dating each other.
On 24 December 2022, Tunisha Sharma committed suicide by hanging herself in Sheezan’s make-up room on the set of the show ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’. Tunisha’s mother, Vanita Sharma accused Sheezan of using the actress for three to four months and later denying to marry her. Sheezan was booked under IPC Section 306 for abetment to suicide and was taken into custody by the police. During police interrogation, Sheezan confessed that he broke up with Tunisha after seeing the consequences from Shraddha Walkar’s murder by her live-in boyfriend Aaftab Poonawala.
